Hunters Creek is an affordable and convenient subdivision outside the city limits of Jacksonville, NC. This subdivision has new homes and older homes that are ranch, craftsman, and American craftsman in style. These homes have 3 to 5 bedrooms and 2 to 3.5 bathrooms and 2 car garages and many have privacy fences around the back yard. Some of these homes have a swimming pool and some of the homes have as much as 3500 square feet. The amenities in this subdivision include boat ramps, common areas, fishing, nature trails, sidewalks, and parks. Residents that live here enjoy Little Northeast Creek for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. There is a small yearly HOA to help maintain the amenities. The schools for this area are Hunters Creek Elementary, Hunters Creek Middle, and White Oak High School. Camp Lejeune at the Piney Green Gate entrance is only a 2-mile drive and it is only 12 miles to MCAS New River. Other amenities close by are shopping areas, restaurants, movie theaters, churches, banks, and post offices. Onslow Memorial Hospital is also only a few miles from this location. Water is furnished by Onslow Water and Sewer Authority and Electric is with Jones Onslow EMC. Cable and Internet are through Charter Communications or Spectrum. In approximately 40 minutes you can drive to North Topsail Beach or Emerald Isle Beach, for boating, fishing, sunbathing, walking, swimming, kayaking, and many other water sports as well as shopping, dining, and touring.
