Havelock, North Carolina and Cherry Point, North Carolina-Craven County

Havelock-Cherry Point is home to the world's largest Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point. In the near future, it will be home to the F-35 Lightning jet which is the most technological airplane ever built. As the AV8A Harriers go into retirement, the A6 makes its final flights, the F-35 will be the staple of the skies around Eastern NC. Havelock real estate is comprised of building lots and land all around the area. Havelock homes consist of new homes and existing homes in many different established subdivisions. Havelock is geographically in between the Crystal Coast beach area and New Bern.

New Bern, North Carolina

New Bern, North Carolina has homes for sale in many different price ranges. There are many real estate and building lot opportunities there as well. Trent Woods and New Bern tends to lean towards retirees finding a safe beautiful place to live with low taxes and low cost of living.

New Bern has a great local government that is very attentive to the citizen's needs. The city has 2 rivers skirting it and rural land to the west. The Neuse and Trent Rivers. They are great bass fishing areas. This also means there are riverfront homes. Several boat ramps are in the area too.

New Bern has several festivals, many churches and sits on Hwys 70 & 17 making Raleigh and Wilmington 2 hour drives. New Bern also has EWN New Bern Airport served by AA and Delta Airlines.

The Crystal Coast and Beach Area- Carteret County

The Crystal Coast Beach area starts from the South end at Emerald Isle, NC. It is really “Bogue Banks Island”. Emerald Isle is just across the Intracoastal Waterway from Swansboro and Cape Carteret. From Emerald Isle, you drive east to Indian Beach, Salter Path then on to Pine Knoll Shores and end up in Atlantic Beach at the Coast Guard station Atlantic Beach. 

The “Bogue Banks Island” has two bridges that connect to the mainland. One bridge at Emerald Isle and the other at Atlantic Beach.  There are real estate opportunities and homes for sale in all areas. You can have a new home built on the island from Emerald Isle or just across the bridge in Morehead City or Beaufort. Plenty of existing home supply usually exists.
