The subdivision of Forestbrook is located in the small, quaint town of Swansboro. This area is approximately 10 miles to the back gate of MCB Camp Lejeune, 9 miles to MCAS New River, and 27 miles to MCAS Cherry Point. The schools for this subdivision are Swansboro Elementary, Swansboro Middle, and Swansboro High School. This subdivision does not have HOA dues. Jacksonville is only a 30-minute drive away, offering a mall, restaurants of every kind, groceries, hotels, and anything else you may need. There is also a hospital in Jacksonville.
