Brookstone is a very affordable neighborhood outside of the city limits of Jacksonville. This is a large neighborhood with approximately 400 homes in it ranging in size from about 1250-3000 square feet in size. The homes are craftsman or traditional in style and the newer style homes have the garage in the back so it gives the appearance of a bungalow on the front. This neighborhood has common areas and at the entrance, there are two beautiful ponds. Most of the streets end with a cul-de-sac. The homes here are one and two-story with 1 or 2 car garages and 2 to 2.5 bathrooms. There are also some large mature trees in the buffer areas of the neighborhood between the streets.  The schools for this area are Silverdale Elementary, Hunters Creek Middle, and White Oak High School. It is approximately 3 miles to MCB Camp Lejeune side gate and 13 miles to MCAS New River gate and 25 miles to MARSOC. This area is close to several beaches including Emerald Isle which is only about a 45-minute drive away. Atlantic Beach and Topsail Island are also close by. Amenities are very close by and include, shopping, dining, groceries, gas, medical, and other amenities, with many being only a 5 to 10-minute drive away. There are also several parks close by, including a dog park. Water, sewer, and electricity is through the City of Jacksonville. There are several internet and phone providers in this area including, Spectrum, Dish, and Direct TV.
