Brices Crossing is a nice neighborhood located in New Bern between two championship golf courses; Taberna and Carolina Colours. It has a very pretty entrance that has beautiful landscaping done. The homes here are traditional style with vinyl and brick façade. The homes have big lots with many being fenced in and some have screened in back porches. Most of the front porches are big enough to accommodate rocking chairs or a swing. The homes yards all have pretty bushes, flowers, and trees. This neighborhood's location is just off of Old Airport Road so the Regional airport is a straight shot down this road and Highway 70 is very close by. The schools for this area are Creekside Elementary, which is less than a mile from the neighborhood and a very easy walk, Grover C Fields Middle School and New Bern High School. This area is serviced by the New Bern Police Department and Fire Department. The hospital for this area is Carolina East Health and is approximately 15 minutes away and the utilities are through the City of New Bern.  Suddenlink and Century Link offer internet, phone, and TV.  There are many restaurants close by as well as a mall and Walmart and Lowes Home Improvement. From Brices Crossing you can be on Atlantic Beach in just under one hour. Other things to do in this area that are a short drive away are touring Tryon Palace, or the New Bern’s Firemen Museum, or walk the Civil War Park or Union Point Park at the water. Or take in the Farmers Market and browse the waterfront and all the neat shops, stores, and restaurants in that district.
