For example, home buyers in cities like Orlando and Phoenix were far less likely to pay above asking price than buyers in markets like San Francisco and Seattle. For buyers in Eastern, NC, there are times when a buyer might have to pay more than asking price, but for the most part this area has an ample amount of new homes being built and it has kept prices moderate and within reach. There is competition in this area but it really does not affect the home prices like in so many areas.
