| About Myself |
When my dad found out my family was moving to Havelock in
1979, he made the statement that Havelock was just a small
fishing village. I was very surprised to find out that there was a
Belk department store and a McDonalds. Unfortunately, the Belk
store closed within the first year of our move, but now we have two
McDonalds and a Walmart. In the early
90s, I had the opportunity to move from Havelock; but by then I
was hooked on the small town atmosphere, and knew that
Havelock was the place I wanted to raise my two children. Both of
my boys attended the Havelock school system from elementary
school through high school, and I must also mention that I have
two adorable and much loved grandchildren that are now enrolled
in elementary school in Havelock. But, to me, the best part of
living in Havelock is being able to help the relocating military
families with their housing needs. It makes me proud to be an
American!
Purchasing a home is a very exciting time for buyers and it
gives me a tremendous amount of satisfaction in helping the first
time home buyer and the relocating military family find that
perfect home. Being a REALTOR means more to me than selling
homes. It's about people, families, and their hopes and
dreams. It's about a relationship based on trust, knowledge and
expertise. Remember, whether you are buying or selling...

As a military family, we found Sandra and the staff of First Carolina, REALTORS, to be attentive to our particular needs. We were overseas in Okinawa when we contacted Sandra by email. A short time later, we received a ?Welcome Aboard? package from her along with maps and information regarding the surrounding local area. I would like to thank Sandra Forehand for all her help in finding us the perfect home in Havelock. Even though we have been married for seventeen years, we have just purchased our first home through Sandra, due to the fact that my husband is in the military. The main reason we were so impressed with Sandra is that we moved here from Japan and she sent us all kinds of information on Havelock/Cherry Point, the schools, available housing, etc. while we were still in Japan. She also drove us everywhere because we did not want to settle for just any house. With three children, we wanted a lot of space. And thanks to Sandra, we found it. Again, thanks for everything.
