Do you want to get an up close look at a sea turtle? Or how about an eel, or a snake? Or an alligator! Do you want to see colorfulnc-aquarium-pine-knoll-shores fish of all kinds and see sharks swimming around the divers in a huge aquarium with a shipwreck in it? There are over 40 exhibits here where you can experience all of this. You can even see birds and dive shows and live animal programs along with hands on activities everyday. There are also nature trails so that you can experience Bogue Sound and the maritime forest. You can go snorkeling or you can try your hand at fishing or clamming. There is also a gift shop, snack bar and rental facilities.

During the summer months on Tuesday its “Toothy Tuesdays”. It’s all about sharks and activities that have to do with sharks. On Thursday, it’s Pirate Family Night, where you will get a peek into the pirating past. Any day that you visit you can explore the sunken ships in the 306,000 gallon aquarium and watch 300 pound sharks swim by or see the sea turtles and eels and all kinds of other creatures. Twice a day the divers use underwater microphones to talk to visitors.
